Small World: Farm

Normally we don't bother setting up the farm in a bin because the rug in the play area is green and we pretend that it's grass. But today we decided to use our cut up plastic Easter grass. We had cut it up to use in arts and crafts gluing projects, but now we use it to substitute grass in our sensory bins. We added our Little People and Safari Toobs farm animals. Bean loves naming all the different animals when she plays with them.

Bean used the side of the bin to line up the animals so she could count them.

And she learned that she could send clumps of the play grass flying off the hay loft :)

This was a fun bin and I think we will play with the barn in it more often!
