Monkey Fun Book Review

Monkey Fun! is Julia Dweck's newest book and like all of her books that we have read so far, it is so fun to read and full of educational information. If your children love monkeys, they are sure to love this book! My daughter thinks monkeys are adorable and was able to learn a few new facts about them, like the fact that most monkeys have tails and apes do not! She liked that as we read the book she learned a little bit more about monkeys.

Monkey Fun! is an adorable book! The pictures are bright and cute and we love the illustrations! Bean kept commenting on how "super cute!" the monkeys were. They had so many different faces that we made a little game of pointing them out, like "which monkey is winking?" It was a great way to explore expressions and emotions and see if she could correctly name them. She also enjoyed pretending to mimic them, like eating pretend bugs off Kaede, our dog, or Munchkin's head. It was funny to watch!

Julia always adds educational facts at the end of her books, on top of all the facts that are already in the books! That is something that we love about Julia's books! You can always learn something fun and educational from them! This book is a lovely picture book geared towards younger children. I know my younger cousins and nephews would love this book!

You can read my other reviews on Julia Dweck's books: Zippity-Zoo: A Magical Zoo, Faux Paw, Humpfree: The Humpless Camel, Blucy and Mary Had A Sleepy Sheep.

Julia Dweck and Monkey Fun! can be found at her website, Amazon, Goodreads, Facebook and Twitter.
